| CVE-2025-5372 | 2 Libssh, Redhat | 5 Libssh, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 2 more | 2025-12-19 | 5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libssh versions built with OpenSSL versions older than 3.0, specifically in the ssh_kdf() function responsible for key derivation. Due to inconsistent interpretation of return values where OpenSSL uses 0 to indicate failure and libssh uses 0 for success—the function may mistakenly return a success status even when key derivation fails. This results in uninitialized cryptographic key buffers being used in subsequent communication, potentially compromising SSH sessions' confidentiality, integrity, and availability. | ||||
| CVE-2024-52005 | 2 Git, Redhat | 4 Git, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2025-12-18 | 8.8 High |
| Git is a source code management tool. When cloning from a server (or fetching, or pushing), informational or error messages are transported from the remote Git process to the client via the so-called "sideband channel". These messages will be prefixed with "remote:" and printed directly to the standard error output. Typically, this standard error output is connected to a terminal that understands ANSI escape sequences, which Git did not protect against. Most modern terminals support control sequences that can be used by a malicious actor to hide and misrepresent information, or to mislead the user into executing untrusted scripts. As requested on the git-security mailing list, the patches are under discussion on the public mailing list. Users are advised to update as soon as possible. Users unable to upgrade should avoid recursive clones unless they are from trusted sources. | ||||
| CVE-2023-7104 | 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Sqlite | 6 Fedora, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 3 more | 2025-12-18 | 5.5 Medium |
| A vulnerability was found in SQLite SQLite3 up to 3.43.0 and classified as critical. This issue affects the function sessionReadRecord of the file ext/session/sqlite3session.c of the component make alltest Handler. The manipulation leads to heap-based buffer overflow. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. The associated identifier of this vulnerability is VDB-248999. | ||||
| CVE-2023-51385 | 3 Debian, Openbsd, Redhat | 5 Debian Linux, Openssh, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2025-12-18 | 6.5 Medium |
| In ssh in OpenSSH before 9.6, OS command injection might occur if a user name or host name has shell metacharacters, and this name is referenced by an expansion token in certain situations. For example, an untrusted Git repository can have a submodule with shell metacharacters in a user name or host name. | ||||
| CVE-2021-3177 | 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 3 more | 12 Debian Linux, Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager and 9 more | 2025-12-18 | 9.8 Critical |
| Python 3.x through 3.9.1 has a buffer overflow in PyCArg_repr in _ctypes/callproc.c, which may lead to remote code execution in certain Python applications that accept floating-point numbers as untrusted input, as demonstrated by a 1e300 argument to c_double.from_param. This occurs because sprintf is used unsafely. | ||||
| CVE-2021-27803 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Redhat and 1 more | 5 Debian Linux, Fedora, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2025-12-18 | 7.5 High |
| A vulnerability was discovered in how p2p/p2p_pd.c in wpa_supplicant before 2.10 processes P2P (Wi-Fi Direct) provision discovery requests. It could result in denial of service or other impact (potentially execution of arbitrary code), for an attacker within radio range. | ||||
| CVE-2021-47432 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus | 2025-12-18 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: lib/generic-radix-tree.c: Don't overflow in peek() When we started spreading new inode numbers throughout most of the 64 bit inode space, that triggered some corner case bugs, in particular some integer overflows related to the radix tree code. Oops. | ||||
| CVE-2021-47383 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus | 2025-12-18 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tty: Fix out-of-bound vmalloc access in imageblit This issue happens when a userspace program does an ioctl FBIOPUT_VSCREENINFO passing the fb_var_screeninfo struct containing only the fields xres, yres, and bits_per_pixel with values. If this struct is the same as the previous ioctl, the vc_resize() detects it and doesn't call the resize_screen(), leaving the fb_var_screeninfo incomplete. And this leads to the updatescrollmode() calculates a wrong value to fbcon_display->vrows, which makes the real_y() return a wrong value of y, and that value, eventually, causes the imageblit to access an out-of-bound address value. To solve this issue I made the resize_screen() be called even if the screen does not need any resizing, so it will "fix and fill" the fb_var_screeninfo independently. | ||||
| CVE-2023-27043 | 4 Fedoraproject, Netapp, Python and 1 more | 7 Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager, Ontap Select Deploy Administration Utility and 4 more | 2025-12-17 | 5.3 Medium |
| The email module of Python through 3.11.3 incorrectly parses e-mail addresses that contain a special character. The wrong portion of an RFC2822 header is identified as the value of the addr-spec. In some applications, an attacker can bypass a protection mechanism in which application access is granted only after verifying receipt of e-mail to a specific domain (e.g., only @company.example.com addresses may be used for signup). This occurs in email/_parseaddr.py in recent versions of Python. | ||||
| CVE-2021-3737 | 6 Canonical, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 3 more | 18 Ubuntu Linux, Fedora, Hci and 15 more | 2025-12-17 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in python. An improperly handled HTTP response in the HTTP client code of python may allow a remote attacker, who controls the HTTP server, to make the client script enter an infinite loop, consuming CPU time. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability. | ||||
| CVE-2021-28957 | 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Lxml and 3 more | 7 Debian Linux, Fedora, Lxml and 4 more | 2025-12-17 | 6.1 Medium |
| An XSS vulnerability was discovered in python-lxml's clean module versions before 4.6.3. When disabling the safe_attrs_only and forms arguments, the Cleaner class does not remove the formaction attribute allowing for JS to bypass the sanitizer. A remote attacker could exploit this flaw to run arbitrary JS code on users who interact with incorrectly sanitized HTML. This issue is patched in lxml 4.6.3. | ||||
| CVE-2024-35897 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 5 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2025-12-17 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: discard table flag update with pending basechain deletion Hook unregistration is deferred to the commit phase, same occurs with hook updates triggered by the table dormant flag. When both commands are combined, this results in deleting a basechain while leaving its hook still registered in the core. | ||||
| CVE-2024-36017 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 7 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 4 more | 2025-12-17 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rtnetlink: Correct nested IFLA_VF_VLAN_LIST attribute validation Each attribute inside a nested IFLA_VF_VLAN_LIST is assumed to be a struct ifla_vf_vlan_info so the size of such attribute needs to be at least of sizeof(struct ifla_vf_vlan_info) which is 14 bytes. The current size validation in do_setvfinfo is against NLA_HDRLEN (4 bytes) which is less than sizeof(struct ifla_vf_vlan_info) so this validation is not enough and a too small attribute might be cast to a struct ifla_vf_vlan_info, this might result in an out of bands read access when accessing the saved (casted) entry in ivvl. | ||||
| CVE-2023-27561 | 3 Debian, Linuxfoundation, Redhat | 5 Debian Linux, Runc, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2025-12-16 | 7 High |
| runc through 1.1.4 has Incorrect Access Control leading to Escalation of Privileges, related to libcontainer/rootfs_linux.go. To exploit this, an attacker must be able to spawn two containers with custom volume-mount configurations, and be able to run custom images. NOTE: this issue exists because of a CVE-2019-19921 regression. | ||||
| CVE-2024-28863 | 3 Isaacs, Node-tar Project, Redhat | 6 Tar, Node-tar, Enterprise Linux and 3 more | 2025-12-16 | 6.5 Medium |
| node-tar is a Tar for Node.js. node-tar prior to version 6.2.1 has no limit on the number of sub-folders created in the folder creation process. An attacker who generates a large number of sub-folders can consume memory on the system running node-tar and even crash the Node.js client within few seconds of running it using a path with too many sub-folders inside. Version 6.2.1 fixes this issue by preventing extraction in excessively deep sub-folders. | ||||
| CVE-2025-49179 | 1 Redhat | 7 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 4 more | 2025-12-11 | 7.3 High |
| A flaw was found in the X Record extension. The RecordSanityCheckRegisterClients function does not check for an integer overflow when computing request length, which allows a client to bypass length checks. | ||||
| CVE-2025-49178 | 1 Redhat | 7 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 4 more | 2025-12-11 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the X server's request handling. Non-zero 'bytes to ignore' in a client's request can cause the server to skip processing another client's request, potentially leading to a denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2025-49177 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus | 2025-12-11 | 6.1 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the XFIXES extension. The XFixesSetClientDisconnectMode handler does not validate the request length, allowing a client to read unintended memory from previous requests. | ||||
| CVE-2025-49180 | 1 Redhat | 7 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 4 more | 2025-12-11 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in the RandR extension, where the RRChangeProviderProperty function does not properly validate input. This issue leads to an integer overflow when computing the total size to allocate. | ||||
| CVE-2025-49175 | 1 Redhat | 7 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 4 more | 2025-12-11 | 6.1 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the X Rendering extension's handling of animated cursors. If a client provides no cursors, the server assumes at least one is present, leading to an out-of-bounds read and potential crash. | ||||
