| Active Storage allows users to attach cloud and local files in Rails applications. Prior to versions 8.1.2.1, 8.0.4.1, and 7.2.3.1, `DirectUploadsController` accepts arbitrary metadata from the client and persists it on the blob. Because internal flags like `identified` and `analyzed` are stored in the same metadata hash, a direct-upload client can set these flags to skip MIME detection and analysis. This allows an attacker to upload arbitrary content while claiming a safe `content_type`, bypassing any validations that rely on Active Storage's automatic content type identification. | Freeciv21 is a free open source, turn-based, empire-building strategy game. Versions prior to 3.1.1 crash with a stack overflow when receiving specially-crafted packets. A remote attacker can use this to take down any public server. A malicious server can use this to crash the game on the player's machine. Authentication is not needed and, by default, logs do not contain any useful information. All users should upgrade to Freeciv21 version 3.1.1. Running the server behind a firewall can help mitigate the issue for non-public servers. For local games, Freeciv21 restricts connections to the current user and is therefore not affected. | ||||

| Salvo is a Rust web framework. Versions 0.39.0 through 0.89.2 have a Path Traversal and Access Control Bypass vulnerability in the salvo-proxy component. The vulnerability allows an unauthenticated external attacker to bypass proxy routing constraints and access unintended backend paths (e.g., protected endpoints or administrative dashboards). This issue stems from the encode_url_path function, which fails to normalize "../" sequences and inadvertently forwards them verbatim to the upstream server by not re-encoding the "." character. | NATS-Server is a High-Performance server for NATS.io, a cloud and edge native messaging system. The nats-server offers a `Nats-Request-Info:` message header, providing information about a request. This is supposed to provide enough information to allow for account/user identification, such that NATS clients could make their own decisions on how to trust a message, provided that they trust the nats-server as a broker. A leafnode connecting to a nats-server is not fully trusted unless the system account is bridged too. Thus identity claims should not have propagated unchecked. Prior to versions 2.11.15 and 2.12.6, NATS clients relying upon the Nats-Request-Info: header could be spoofed. This does not directly affect the nats-server itself, but the CVSS Confidentiality and Integrity scores are based upon what a hypothetical client might choose to do with this NATS header. Versions 2.11.15 and 2.12.6 contain a fix. No known workarounds are available. | ||||
