CVSS v3.1 |
| A flaw was found in the Linux kernel, where unauthorized access to the execution of the setuid file with capabilities was found in the Linux kernel’s OverlayFS subsystem in how a user copies a capable file from a nosuid mount into another mount. This uid mapping bug allows a local user to escalate their privileges on the system. |
| An attacker could, via a specially crafted multipart response, execute arbitrary JavaScript under the `resource://devtools` origin. This could allow them to access cross-origin JSON content. This access is limited to "same site" documents by the Site Isolation feature on desktop clients, but full cross-origin access is possible on Android versions. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 131, Firefox ESR < 128.3, Firefox ESR < 115.16, Thunderbird < 128.3, and Thunderbird < 131. |
| An attacker could, via a specially crafted multipart response, execute arbitrary JavaScript under the `resource://pdf.js` origin. This could allow them to access cross-origin PDF content. |
| In PHP versions 8.1.* before 8.1.30, 8.2.* before 8.2.24, 8.3.* before 8.3.12, when using PHP-FPM SAPI and it is configured to catch workers output through catch_workers_output = yes, it may be possible to pollute the final log or remove up to 4 characters from the log messages by manipulating log message content. Additionally, if PHP-FPM is configured to use syslog output, it may be possible to further remove log data using the same vulnerability. |
| In PHP versions 8.1.* before 8.1.30, 8.2.* before 8.2.24, 8.3.* before 8.3.12, HTTP_REDIRECT_STATUS variable is used to check whether or not CGI binary is being run by the HTTP server. However, in certain scenarios, the content of this variable can be controlled by the request submitter via HTTP headers, which can lead to cgi.force_redirect option not being correctly applied. In certain configurations this may lead to arbitrary file inclusion in PHP. |
| Cacti is an open source performance and fault management framework. An authenticated Cacti user can abuse graph creation and graph template functionality to create arbitrary PHP scripts in the web root of the application, leading to remote code execution on the server. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.2.29. |
| GVCP dissector crash in Wireshark 4.2.0, 4.0.0 to 4.0.11, and 3.6.0 to 3.6.19 allows denial of service via packet injection or crafted capture file |
| A denial of service via regular expression in the py.path.svnwc component of py (aka python-py) through 1.9.0 could be used by attackers to cause a compute-time denial of service attack by supplying malicious input to the blame functionality. |
| IPv6-in-IPv4 tunneling (RFC 4213) allows an attacker to spoof and route traffic via an exposed network interface. |
| IPv4-in-IPv6 and IPv6-in-IPv6 tunneling (RFC 2473) do not require the validation or verification of the source of a network packet, allowing an attacker to spoof and route arbitrary traffic via an exposed network interface. This is a similar issue to CVE-2020-10136. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: conntrack: clamp maximum hashtable size to INT_MAX
Use INT_MAX as maximum size for the conntrack hashtable. Otherwise, it
is possible to hit WARN_ON_ONCE in __kvmalloc_node_noprof() when
resizing hashtable because __GFP_NOWARN is unset. See:
0708a0afe291 ("mm: Consider __GFP_NOWARN flag for oversized kvmalloc() calls")
Note: hashtable resize is only possible from init_netns. |
| Proposed Generic UDP Encapsulation (GUE) (IETF Draft) do not validate or verify the source of a network packet allowing an attacker to spoof and route arbitrary traffic via an exposed network interface that can lead to spoofing, access control bypass, and other unexpected network behaviors.
This can be considered similar to CVE-2020-10136. |
| GRE and GRE6 Protocols (RFC2784) do not validate or verify the source of a network packet allowing an attacker to spoof and route arbitrary traffic via an exposed network interface that can lead to spoofing, access control bypass, and other unexpected network behaviors.
This can be considered similar to CVE-2020-10136. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
power: supply: gpio-charger: Fix set charge current limits
Fix set charge current limits for devices which allow to set the lowest
charge current limit to be greater zero. If requested charge current limit
is below lowest limit, the index equals current_limit_map_size which leads
to accessing memory beyond allocated memory. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
can: j1939: j1939_session_new(): fix skb reference counting
Since j1939_session_skb_queue() does an extra skb_get() for each new
skb, do the same for the initial one in j1939_session_new() to avoid
refcount underflow.

| In MIT Kerberos 5 (aka krb5) before 1.21.3, an attacker can cause invalid memory reads during GSS message token handling by sending message tokens with invalid length fields. |
| The OWASP ModSecurity Core Rule Set (CRS) is affected by a partial rule set bypass by submitting a specially crafted HTTP Content-Type header field that indicates multiple character encoding schemes. A vulnerable back-end can potentially be exploited by declaring multiple Content-Type "charset" names and therefore bypassing the configurable CRS Content-Type header "charset" allow list. An encoded payload can bypass CRS detection this way and may then be decoded by the backend. The legacy CRS versions 3.0.x and 3.1.x are affected, as well as the currently supported versions 3.2.1 and 3.3.2. Integrators and users are advised to upgrade to 3.2.2 and 3.3.3 respectively. |
| ServiceNow has addressed an input validation vulnerability that was identified in Vancouver and Washington DC Now Platform releases. This vulnerability could enable an unauthenticated user to remotely execute code within the context of the Now Platform. ServiceNow applied an update to hosted instances, and ServiceNow released the update to our partners and self-hosted customers. Listed below are the patches and hot fixes that address the vulnerability. If you have not done so already, we recommend applying security patches relevant to your instance as soon as possible. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mm: hugetlb: independent PMD page table shared count
The folio refcount may be increased unexpectly through try_get_folio() by
caller such as split_huge_pages. In huge_pmd_unshare(), we use refcount
to check whether a pmd page table is shared. The check is incorrect if
the refcount is increased by the above caller, and this can cause the page
table leaked:

The issue may be triggered by damon, offline_page, page_idle, etc, which
will increase the refcount of page table.
1. The page table itself will be discarded after reporting the
"nonzero mapcount".
2. The HugeTLB page mapped by the page table miss freeing since we
treat the page table as shared and a shared page table will not be
unmapped.
Fix it by introducing independent PMD page table shared count. As
described by comment, pt_index/pt_mm/pt_frag_refcount are used for s390
gmap, x86 pgds and powerpc, pt_share_count is used for x86/arm64/riscv
pmds, so we can reuse the field as pt_share_count. |
| Improper Access Control in Citrix ShareFile storage zones controller before 5.11.20 may allow an unauthenticated attacker to remotely compromise the storage zones controller. |
