CVE-2025-38174 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2025-12-18 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: thunderbolt: Do not double dequeue a configuration request Some of our devices crash in tb_cfg_request_dequeue(): general protection fault, probably for non-canonical address 0xdead000000000122 CPU: 6 PID: 91007 Comm: kworker/6:2 Tainted: G U W 6.6.65 RIP: 0010:tb_cfg_request_dequeue+0x2d/0xa0 Call Trace: <TASK> ? tb_cfg_request_dequeue+0x2d/0xa0 tb_cfg_request_work+0x33/0x80 worker_thread+0x386/0x8f0 kthread+0xed/0x110 ret_from_fork+0x38/0x50 ret_from_fork_asm+0x1b/0x30 The circumstances are unclear, however, the theory is that tb_cfg_request_work() can be scheduled twice for a request: first time via frame.callback from ring_work() and second time from tb_cfg_request(). Both times kworkers will execute tb_cfg_request_dequeue(), which results in double list_del() from the ctl->request_queue (the list poison deference hints at it: 0xdead000000000122). Do not dequeue requests that don't have TB_CFG_REQUEST_ACTIVE bit set.
CVE-2025-38285 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2025-12-18 5.5 Medium

CVE-2025-38286 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2025-12-18 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pinctrl: at91: Fix possible out-of-boundary access at91_gpio_probe() doesn't check that given OF alias is not available or something went wrong when trying to get it. This might have consequences when accessing gpio_chips array with that value as an index. Note, that BUG() can be compiled out and hence won't actually perform the required checks.
CVE-2025-38293 3 Debian, Linux, Qualcomm 3 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Qca6698aq 2025-12-18 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath11k: fix node corruption in ar->arvifs list In current WLAN recovery code flow, ath11k_core_halt() only reinitializes the "arvifs" list head. This will cause the list node immediately following the list head to become an invalid list node. Because the prev of that node still points to the list head "arvifs", but the next of the list head "arvifs" no longer points to that list node. When a WLAN recovery occurs during the execution of a vif removal, and it happens before the spin_lock_bh(&ar->data_lock) in ath11k_mac_op_remove_interface(), list_del() will detect the previously mentioned situation, thereby triggering a kernel panic. The fix is to remove and reinitialize all vif list nodes from the list head "arvifs" during WLAN halt. The reinitialization is to make the list nodes valid, ensuring that the list_del() in ath11k_mac_op_remove_interface() can execute normally. CVE-2024-50349 2 Debian, Git 2 Debian Linux, Git 2025-12-18 4.7 Medium
Git is a fast, scalable, distributed revision control system with an unusually rich command set that provides both high-level operations and full access to internals. When Git asks for credentials via a terminal prompt (i.e. without using any credential helper), it prints out the host name for which the user is expected to provide a username and/or a password. At this stage, any URL-encoded parts have been decoded already, and are printed verbatim. This allows attackers to craft URLs that contain ANSI escape sequences that the terminal interpret to confuse users e.g. into providing passwords for trusted Git hosting sites when in fact they are then sent to untrusted sites that are under the attacker's control. This issue has been patch via commits `7725b81` and `c903985` which are included in release versions v2.48.1, v2.47.2, v2.46.3, v2.45.3, v2.44.3, v2.43.6, v2.42.4, v2.41.3, and v2.40.4. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade should avoid cloning from untrusted URLs, especially recursive clones.
CVE-2024-52006 2 Debian, Git 2 Debian Linux, Git 2025-12-18 7.5 High
Git is a fast, scalable, distributed revision control system with an unusually rich command set that provides both high-level operations and full access to internals. Git defines a line-based protocol that is used to exchange information between Git and Git credential helpers. Some ecosystems (most notably, .NET and node.js) interpret single Carriage Return characters as newlines, which renders the protections against CVE-2020-5260 incomplete for credential helpers that treat Carriage Returns in this way. This issue has been addressed in commit `b01b9b8` which is included in release versions v2.48.1, v2.47.2, v2.46.3, v2.45.3, v2.44.3, v2.43.6, v2.42.4, v2.41.3, and v2.40.4. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade should avoid cloning from untrusted URLs, especially recursive clones.
CVE-2025-38180 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2025-12-18 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: atm: fix /proc/net/atm/lec handling /proc/net/atm/lec must ensure safety against dev_lec[] changes. It appears it had dev_put() calls without prior dev_hold(), leading to imbalance and UAF.
CVE-2023-51385 3 Debian, Openbsd, Redhat 5 Debian Linux, Openssh, Enterprise Linux and 2 more 2025-12-18 6.5 Medium
In ssh in OpenSSH before 9.6, OS command injection might occur if a user name or host name has shell metacharacters, and this name is referenced by an expansion token in certain situations. For example, an untrusted Git repository can have a submodule with shell metacharacters in a user name or host name.
CVE-2021-3177 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 3 more 12 Debian Linux, Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager and 9 more 2025-12-18 9.8 Critical
Python 3.x through 3.9.1 has a buffer overflow in PyCArg_repr in _ctypes/callproc.c, which may lead to remote code execution in certain Python applications that accept floating-point numbers as untrusted input, as demonstrated by a 1e300 argument to c_double.from_param. This occurs because sprintf is used unsafely.
CVE-2021-27803 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Redhat and 1 more 5 Debian Linux, Fedora, Enterprise Linux and 2 more 2025-12-18 7.5 High
A vulnerability was discovered in how p2p/p2p_pd.c in wpa_supplicant before 2.10 processes P2P (Wi-Fi Direct) provision discovery requests. It could result in denial of service or other impact (potentially execution of arbitrary code), for an attacker within radio range.
CVE-2019-6111 10 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 7 more 27 Mina Sshd, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 24 more 2025-12-18 5.9 Medium
An issue was discovered in OpenSSH 7.9. Due to the scp implementation being derived from 1983 rcp, the server chooses which files/directories are sent to the client. However, the scp client only performs cursory validation of the object name returned (only directory traversal attacks are prevented). A malicious scp server (or Man-in-The-Middle attacker) can overwrite arbitrary files in the scp client target directory. If recursive operation (-r) is performed, the server can manipulate subdirectories as well (for example, to overwrite the .ssh/authorized_keys file).
CVE-2021-4189 4 Debian, Netapp, Python and 1 more 6 Debian Linux, Ontap Select Deploy Administration Utility, Python and 3 more 2025-12-17 5.3 Medium
A flaw was found in Python, specifically in the FTP (File Transfer Protocol) client library in PASV (passive) mode. The issue is how the FTP client trusts the host from the PASV response by default. This flaw allows an attacker to set up a malicious FTP server that can trick FTP clients into connecting back to a given IP address and port. This vulnerability could lead to FTP client scanning ports, which otherwise would not have been possible.
CVE-2021-28957 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Lxml and 3 more 7 Debian Linux, Fedora, Lxml and 4 more 2025-12-17 6.1 Medium
An XSS vulnerability was discovered in python-lxml's clean module versions before 4.6.3. When disabling the safe_attrs_only and forms arguments, the Cleaner class does not remove the formaction attribute allowing for JS to bypass the sanitizer. A remote attacker could exploit this flaw to run arbitrary JS code on users who interact with incorrectly sanitized HTML. This issue is patched in lxml 4.6.3.
CVE-2018-20685 9 Canonical, Debian, Fujitsu and 6 more 30 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, M10-1 and 27 more 2025-12-17 5.3 Medium
In OpenSSH 7.9, scp.c in the scp client allows remote SSH servers to bypass intended access restrictions via the filename of . or an empty filename. The impact is modifying the permissions of the target directory on the client side.
CVE-2018-15473 7 Canonical, Debian, Netapp and 4 more 25 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Aff Baseboard Management Controller and 22 more 2025-12-17 5.9 Medium
OpenSSH through 7.7 is prone to a user enumeration vulnerability due to not delaying bailout for an invalid authenticating user until after the packet containing the request has been fully parsed, related to auth2-gss.c, auth2-hostbased.c, and auth2-pubkey.c.
CVE-2016-1762 6 Apple, Canonical, Debian and 3 more 17 Iphone Os, Mac Os X, Safari and 14 more 2025-12-17 8.1 High
The xmlNextChar function in libxml2 before 2.9.4 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (heap-based buffer over-read) via a crafted XML document.
CVE-2017-7526 3 Canonical, Debian, Gnupg 3 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libgcrypt 2025-12-17 N/A
libgcrypt before version 1.7.8 is vulnerable to a cache side-channel attack resulting into a complete break of RSA-1024 while using the left-to-right method for computing the sliding-window expansion. The same attack is believed to work on RSA-2048 with moderately more computation. This side-channel requires that attacker can run arbitrary software on the hardware where the private RSA key is used.
CVE-2020-27783 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Lxml and 3 more 9 Debian Linux, Fedora, Lxml and 6 more 2025-12-17 6.1 Medium
A XSS vulnerability was discovered in python-lxml's clean module. The module's parser didn't properly imitate browsers, which caused different behaviors between the sanitizer and the user's page. A remote attacker could exploit this flaw to run arbitrary HTML/JS code.
CVE-2025-37949 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2025-12-17 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xenbus: Use kref to track req lifetime Marek reported seeing a NULL pointer fault in the xenbus_thread callstack: BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 0000000000000000 RIP: e030:__wake_up_common+0x4c/0x180 Call Trace: <TASK> __wake_up_common_lock+0x82/0xd0 process_msg+0x18e/0x2f0 xenbus_thread+0x165/0x1c0 process_msg+0x18e is req->cb(req). req->cb is set to xs_wake_up(), a thin wrapper around wake_up(), or xenbus_dev_queue_reply(). It seems like it was xs_wake_up() in this case. It seems like req may have woken up the xs_wait_for_reply(), which kfree()ed the req. When xenbus_thread resumes, it faults on the zero-ed data. Linux Device Drivers 2nd edition states: "Normally, a wake_up call can cause an immediate reschedule to happen, meaning that other processes might run before wake_up returns." ... which would match the behaviour observed. Change to keeping two krefs on each request. One for the caller, and one for xenbus_thread. Each will kref_put() when finished, and the last will free it. This use of kref matches the description in Documentation/core-api/kref.rst
CVE-2025-37951 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2025-12-17 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/v3d: Add job to pending list if the reset was skipped When a CL/CSD job times out, we check if the GPU has made any progress since the last timeout. If so, instead of resetting the hardware, we skip the reset and let the timer get rearmed. This gives long-running jobs a chance to complete. However, when `timedout_job()` is called, the job in question is removed from the pending list, which means it won't be automatically freed through `free_job()`. Consequently, when we skip the reset and keep the job running, the job won't be freed when it finally completes. This situation leads to a memory leak, as exposed in [1] and [2]. Similarly to commit 704d3d60fec4 ("drm/etnaviv: don't block scheduler when GPU is still active"), this patch ensures the job is put back on the pending list when extending the timeout.
